FREE BILL PAYMENT
Our Bill Payment service is offered to you through speedy line and Firehouse Online. We do not charge a set-up or per transaction fee. Once you have signed-up, you can set-up payees and schedule payment dates. You can also view your bill payment history of transactions.
If you are using Firehouse Online, all set-up can be completed online. If using Speedy Line, please call our Queensgate Office at 762-1623 or 1-800-825-3622x623 or stop by one of our branches and we'll be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Payment options: There are two payment options: AUTO-PAY and SELECT-PAY.
AUTO-PAY - This option allows you to schedule bill payments to be made automatically any day of each month, depending on your preference.
SELECT-PAY - This option will allow you to pay your bills when you want and to whom you want. In the initial set-up, you can make a list (and modify it at any time) of those merchants you pay on a regular basis. This way, the information is there for you every month and all you will need to do is let Bill Payment know how much to send out of your account. You will need to follow the directions specific to speedy line or firehouse online to initiate payments. To assure accuracy, CFCU asks you to confirm or cancel each monetary transaction before it is completed. All monetary transactions will appear on your monthly CFCU statements or will appear as they occur on both your Fire House Online account history and Bill Payment history.
During the set-up, it will help to know a few terms and hints:
Share ID - Share IDs are identification numbers for your share draft (checking) and share (savings) accounts. The Share ID for your share account is 00. The Share ID for your share draft account is 80. Bill Payments can be made through either of those two accounts.
Bill Payment ID - Bill Payment IDs are easy to remember because you assign them! They are two-digit numbers that are assigned to represent the merchants whose bills you wish to pay.
Touch-Tone-Teller tips:
Monetary amounts - Your touchtone telephone keys are your link to Bill Payment by phone. You must end EVERY ANSWER with the pound (#) key. The # key lets CFCU know you're ready to move on. When you enter a monetary amount, CFCU recognizes the last two digits as cents ($5.00 must be entered as 500#).
Processing:
Business days for this service are Monday thru Friday. The cut-off time for payment authorization is 2:00 pm. All payments MUST be authorized by the cut-off time to be mailed out that business day. The authorized payments will be withdrawn from your account at the cut-off time. Please remember to allow sufficient mailing time.
